Coolink has unveiled its new heat sink, the Corator DS. This beast of 1040 grams is designed around four large copper heat pipes of 8 mm in diameter, and two blocks of 70 strips of aluminum. This is the first model of the Taiwanese manufacturer to adopt the technology TDM (Gapless Direct Touch) which essentially places the heat pipes in direct contact with the processor. The total surface dissipation of the heat sink is 7500 cm ².
A fan SWiF2-120P (120mm PWM) will evacuate the residual heat. Its 11 blades will carry between 800 and 1700 revolutions per minute, and will issue no more of 27.1 decibels. The Corator DS is compatible with Intel socket LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA775 and AM2, AM2 + and AM3. The CPU cooler comes with thermal paste Chillaramic. It is available now at suggested retail price of € 49.90 inc.
