Back in September, came the message that, AMD is preparing to release a new processor Phenom II 975 Black Edition. This processor is literally behind the curtain, and some foreign suppliers have already started taking orders for it. Unfortunately, its price is still unknown, but its characteristics are already known, and they are truly impressive. Its clock frequency is 3.6GGts, model 975 will be the fastest processor AMD Phenom to date, and in addition, it will come with unlocked multiplier. This processor will be 4x 512Kb L2 cache and general 6Mb Cache L3. The only drawback of the new model is a tremendous power, equal 140Vt.

However, if you are looking for something cleaner and cooler, you can turn its attention to the Phenom II X4 910e. This processor clocked at 2.6GHz and has 2MB of L2 cache and 6Mb cache L3, but its modest power: only 65W. Halfway between the above two processors worth Phenom II X4 820. It runs at 2.8GHz and has power 95Vt, 2MB L2 cache and 4 MB of cache L3. This is perhaps the most sensible option of the three future processors, but ... 3.6GGts just sounds better.

The new CPUs should be available fairly soon, but their release date and expected price is still unknown. It is expected that their prices will be similar to prices of CPUs, which will be replaced by these models, i.e., 965, 905e and 810.
