The Taiwanese ECS launches in turn card controller supports Serial ATA to 6 Gb / s and the SuperSpeed USB...

ECS has just launched two controller cards supporting the new iterations of Serial ATA and USB. The ECS U3N2 is designed around an NEC chip, it offers two USB 3.0 ports and connects to the motherboard via a PCI Express x1. The ECS S6M2 operates for its solution Marvell SATA 6 Gb / s. It offers a port Serial ATA standard, and eSATA.

Note that there is currently no device compatible eSATA 6 Gb / s. ECS will provide Low Profile brackets in the bundle of his little cards. A SATA cable is supplied with the S6M2, while U3N2 have no USB cable in the box ... damage. The Taiwanese manufacturer does not specify the rates of its two expansion cards, but they will probably be attractive given the usual positioning of branded products.
