The latest drivers from NVIDIA, the 196.21 WHQL, prevent some overclocking tools to function. RivaTuner, tools based on it, the control panel NVIDIA, etc.., No longer display correctly the frequency of shader engine, when the latter is willing to appear, and are therefore unable to modify. The problem, which affects a priori all the cards from the manufacturer, is not - according to NVIDIA - intentional, it is a "simple" bug, although some believe it is an effect board of management for future maps of the Fermi family, without it being confirmed.

Therefore remains to wait for updated drivers or updated software. It is nevertheless a pity that this kind of problem happens with WHQL drivers, which are normally tested to avoid defects, but overclocking does not visibly part of the test bench.
