The globe's second largest computer producer has recently given his view on Apple's launch of the surfing plate IPAD. Company president Scott Lin has revealed that a tablet do not fit into Acer's product range now as well as the business's view on Apple's IPAD bet seems to be quite sound. Scott Lin thinks that Apple is one of the few companies that can succeed in launching such a niche produce that IPAD is in fact. For the simple reason that it has its iTunes ecosystem to connect to the device hardware.
In short this mean that Acer lags far behind with only the best hardware, the need for a good interface and particularly suitable services to be linked to the device. Something Scott Lin argues that few companies other than Apple can offer.
Acer itself continues to invest heavily in its ultra-thin notebooks, and in 2010 there will be a strong emphasis on models that are less than 2cm in profile.
