Thread: Transcend 8GB of DDR3 for Servers

Transcend has added two new modules of DDR3 memory in its catalog for servers and workstations.

The manufacturer launches indeed a DDR3 memory module "registered" to 8 GB, equipped with a temperature sensor and a heat sink and running at 1066 Mhz. It also introduced a 4 GB module format VLP (Very LowProfile, is 1.88 cm high) RDIMM operating at 1333 MHz and also equipped with a thermal probe. Transcend unfortunately did not include a price or release dates for these two new products.
