LG has just promoted in South Korea three innovative LCDs, the EX205 (20 inches), EX225 (21.5 inches) as well as the EX235 (23 inches). Boasting an LED backlight, these screens show - according to the producer - utilizing not more than 40% (maximum) to that of a display backlight classic. This type of backlight also lets these three LCDs measuring less than 18 mm thick.

The response time is 5 ms while the dynamic contrast ratio reached 1 500 000: 1. Showing respectively $ 267, 301 dollars and 362 dollars, EX205, EX225 and EX235 should be available at first only on the Korean market.
