Wacom has proclaimed a new-fangled graphics tablet, the Intuos 4 Wireless, one year after the wired adaptation. This tablet makes use of therefore, as its given name recommends, a wireless technology, in this case the Bluetooth. The tablet is comparable to an Intuos 4 million and offers the same features: 2 048 levels of pressure, management of tilt, OLED, etc... Negative point, the active area is smaller: the 4 million has a functional area of 223 mm x 139 mm (about 310 cm ²), the Wireless simply 203 mm x 127 mm (257 cm ²). The tablet is sold for $ 30 more ($ 400) than the classic version - good idea - the power of the tablet is using a USB cable (in its place of the adapter from the old model wireless). The tablet has a battery of course be used for wireless Wacom does not communicate on autonomy.

Note that this Intuos 4 Wireless replaces the old Graphire 3 Bluetooth - even if it was less successful - provided a working area of 309 cm ² for only $ 250.
