MSI has just roll out a innovative graphics card passive. The GeForce 220 GT uses a design seen on other solutions of the Taiwanese producer; a base is attached via a pair of heat pipes in a block of fins, transported back to the graphics card. It will then check that your configuration is compatible with this arrangement before you buy the solution.
Apart from its heatsink, the card is a MSI GeForce GT 220 Classic, the GT216 (compatible with DirectX 10.1) offers 48 stream processors and support for the latter we found 1 GB of DDR2, connected via a memory interface of 128 bits. The frequencies are 625 MHz core, 1360 MHz for shaders, and 810 MHz for memory. The N220GT-MD1GZ offer VGA ports, DVI and HDMI. It is referenced in Europe from 65 euros.
