Dell has at last put on sale its UltraSharp U2711. Since the declaration of the 27-inch iMac from Apple, this slab had made us dream. A few weeks later, we learned that Dell was going to exploit for its future screens. Officially promoted in the CES in Las Vegas last month, the U2711 has UltraSharp is at last presented in the United States, and should soon be in Europe.
This monitor is 27 inches equipped with an IPS panel with a superb resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, the set gives a pitch of only 0.233 mm. Its response time is 6 milliseconds, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and brightness level of 350 cd / mē. It covers 110% of the RGB color space and offers viewing angles very open (178 degrees on all axes).
The interface is not remaining with one foot that allows the movement of the screen from top to bottom and from right to left. A memory card reader 8 in 1 is present along with two DVI ports, a VGA port, the RCA connectors, a HDMI and a DisplayPort.
Dell UltraSharp U2711 sells for 1099 dollars, or about 949 euros including all taxes ... The price of dreams?
