Thread: Synology: D410 Atom in the NAS

The manufacturer Synology has unveiled the specifications of its DiskStation DS710 + NAS displaying dimensions of 157 x 104 x 232 mm with a weight of 1.69 kg. Equipped with an 80mm fan and two bays that can accommodate as many disks, this NAS will consume 31W in use.

With a built-processor Atom D410 with 1 GB of DDR2-800, the DS710 + has three USB ports and an eSATA port and a Gigabit Ethernet port. Synology announces speeds of around 110MB / s read and 100MB / s write. The maximum storage capacity will also be increased to 14 TB using a plug-DX510 offers five locations for additional hard drives.
