Marvell has announced its new processor for mobile products, ARMADA 618. This is an ARM v7 Sheeva CPU clocked at 1GHz.

High-end version

And it is competent to control the recording as well as the decoding of 1080p video, image processing with a resolution of 16 Megapixels with almost four unusual screens of 2 000 x 2 000 each, and this adaptation is competent with high-end OpenGL ES 2.0 as well as Open VG 1.1 and contains a USB 2.0 controller, with a component Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G also including a FM tuner.

Entry-level version

The chip platform opposes the entry level Pantheon using a processor of the same family as the previous one, but intended for smartphones under 100 € and using Windows Mobile or Android. Marvell provides much less detail on the last bullet, except that it only supports videos in 720p and it runs at 800 MHz.
