While processors 45nm are in the catalog of Intel for some time now, and engraved models in 32 nm are available for some months now, some CPU on 65nm factories still out of depth. Thus, in the first quarter, the processors on 65nm represent slightly less than 3% of the production of Intel. This proportion should increase to 2% in the second quarter and less than 1% thereafter.
Currently, processors 45nm represent the majority of processors manufactured by Intel (85%), against only 12% for 32 nm chips. At the end of the year, the CPU 45nm should represent 65% of production, while those in 32 nm will reach 35%. If we rely on estimates of Intel, the production of 32nm processors expected to surpass 45 nm CPU in 2011...
