German Icy Box in turn launches a USB 3.0 dock...

Icy Dock has unveiled a new dock HDD equipped with a SuperSpeed USB interface. IB-B-110SttU3 supports HDD and SSD formats 2.5 and 3.5 inches. It is thus then the USB 3.0 (backward compatible with USB 2.0 & 1.1). The dock is equipped with a diode of activity and is compatible hot swap (disk inserted can be withdrawn at any time). The IB-110SttU3-B is compatible with operating systems Windows XP, Vista and 7.

Nanopoint, which distributes Icy Box in France, indicates immediate availability suggested retail price of € 44.90 inc. The photo supplied by the manufacturer shows unfortunately the wrong model (eSATA rather than USB 3.0). The IB-110SttU3-B is virtually identical, however, if one excludes connectors.
