MSI Unveils 16-inch laptop controls Intel Core i5 CPU and AMD's ATI Radeon HD5730.
Monday MSI exposed its new 16-inch gaming notebook, GE600, which utilizes Intel's HM55 chipset and 32nm Core i5 processor, and AMD's ATI Radeon HD5730 discrete graphics.
Portable rig supports 720p HD webcam, integral sub-woofer, and SRS Premium Sound. GE600 is decked out with shiny cover of black, highlighted by gold palm rest.
For other specifications, gaming notebook presents Windows 7, two DDR3 RAM SO-DIMM slots, LCD screen, and SATA HDD. Also 4-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth, Intel's 802.11 a/b/g/draft n, HDMI out.
MSI thinks that it is also throwing in two "theater-class" speakers and its exclusive ECO Engine Power Saving Technology. Laptop comes with six-cell battery, though gamers can update to nine-cell version.
"To fulfill the consumer requirements, MSI 16" entertainment model GE600 made to with enhanced software/hardware tools featured with all new external design, HD webcam, sub-woofer and SRS Premium Sound audio, all this allows consumers to enter new era of mobile video or audio enjoyment experiences," said Sam Chern, MSI Notebook Marketing Director.
Other than specifications and all promotion, MSI did not present any cost or exact release date on this laptop.
