Kingston launches the DataTraveler 5000 USB Flash drive series. It is very safe, featuring 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption and is FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certified. The DataTraveler 5000 is available in capacity of 2/4/8/16GB. It will also have onboard Malware scanning application through Kingston’s customization program, with5-year warranty.

Its security is set such that the drive locks down after 10 interruption attempts and encryption key is cracked, and can work even with the AutoRun facility disabled in Windows. It is declared to be ruggedized because of waterproof and titanium-coated stainless steel casing, and a tamper-evident coating/seal for physical security.
