Intel has said that it had taken three programs in place to pay some developers of applications for its service AppUp, which is a type App Store netbook Atom.
3 competitions
The founder hopes to pull towards programmers and make AppUp software that will make its valuable service. For this, he first proposes the Fast Track 2010. This is to give $ 500 (approx. 370) to 250 developers chosen for the work they have submitted during the month of March. Downloads Dollars for 2010 gives $ 2 (approx. 1.5 ) per download, up to $ 5 000 (approx. 3 700 ) for a free application and $ 25 000 (approx. 18 000) for a program fee. At last, the third competitions, the Intel Atom Developer Challenge propose a set price which has not yet been announced.
All developers are invited
The competitions are open to developers worldwide, provided they read, speak and understand English and they are mostly members of the Intel Atom Developer Program.
It remains to be seen whether this moment will make applications that will distinguish between traditional netbooks and computers if AppUp become the place where users will discover the applications available in place of going through Google and surfing the Internet
