Matrox If left for years the market for 3D entertainment, the manufacturer still remains active in the professional market. It is also known for its solutions to drive multiple monitors from a single computer. Yes, but voila, the arrival of AMD and its Eyefinity pushes the manufacturer to innovate and bring out new products.
A wall of screens 26 inches
Matrox thus benefits from CeBIT to explain its stand on a solution capable of driving not less than 12 screens 26 inches. To do this, Matrox has used two graphics cards: an M9188 and M9148. The first 8 screens runs through so many mini-DisplayPort connector, while the second manages "only" four .
Both cards use a PCI-Express 16x. The M9188 has an active cooling system loads and 2 GB of memory, while the M9148 is a map in low-profile, fitted with a single radiator with 1 GB of memory. The total resolution of the display wall reaches 7680 x 3600 pixels.
