The iPad will be released in France around the end of April according to Apple, which also confirmed by the voice of Steve Jobs, that the tablet does not manage the tethering.
Output and prices
Apple has announced that its shelf will be on sale at the end of next month in France, Australia, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Unlike the U.S. versions Wi-Fi and 3G the iPad will be available at product launch.
Apple has not said whether it would pre-order system in place in other countries, but said that international prices would be known in April.
Tethering
Steve Jobs also makes the surprise when someone Swedish Jezper Söderlund, sent an email to the CEO of the firm asking if the iPhone could share its Internet connection with the iPad, as already does with the Mac or the iPad would share its connection with another device. Finally, there is no limitation on this technology.
The response from Mr. Jobs is a single word: "No". A round in the headers of the email suggests that it is a response from the CEO. We therefore imagine that Apple will block applications that can share a connection from one or iPad.
