Thread: Upcoming Sony PS3 updates 3D

Mr. Nainan Shah, vice president of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe said that the PS3 users worldwide just upgraded PS3 system software over the Internet rather than buy new systems to enjoy 3D games. From January 4/2010, Sky, BSkyB and other companies are planning to offer 3D programming capabilities.

According to Sony, the PS3 game console just to upgrade the software is able of 3D because they have HDMI and use Cell chips . Cell chips have the capacity to use software to decode images, so that software updates will help decode the Cell 3D format.

Feedback on December 2009, Sony Computer Entertainment says it will relase the 3D game titles for the PS3 with Sony's 3D TV.
