Thread: Toshiba introduce a series of tablets by 2011

Toshiba Corporation, Japan based computer manufacture has been gets ready to give some competition for Apple’s iPad. Source said, it will launch their own range of tablet PCs by near the beginning of 2011.

It is reported that the company said that it has take too lightly the new category and will soon released an range of tablet PCs.

Apple had launched its iPad in January this year with for the reasonable price rate. But, it seems that the device needs lots of features like multitasking and support for Adobe Flash, which can be beneficial for Apple’s competitors.

Source said, the company will release its devices earlier than the holiday season by the end of this year.

Next to Toshiba, HP has already declared its slate device to compete with Apple in January. Because of such development, ARM believes that about 50 different tablets would be releasing in the current year.

The iPad surely leaves some room in the market, but it is already here. If Toshiba really wants to compete they should hurry up, after one year it won't be the same market. I mean it will be too late to give competition. And after a year it will be just a launch, no competition.
