From May 2010, packaged software (ERP) of U.S. publisher Lawson can eat from the Amazon cloud. As its strategy to align with what is becoming more and more gun use on ERP segment, publisher has determined to make available its Enterprise Management System applications and Talent Management on EC2, Infrastructure Cloud Computing Amazon Web Services. This time, the offer is in also portfolio in name of Lawson Lawson External Cloud Services.
In a statement, the editor explains that through this deployment at Amazon, users can quickly set up new bodies to benefit from additional system capacity to demand, and pay only for what they consume. Lawson adds: "The company may also establish temporary institutions to test a new system before starting or prototyping new processes to determine the potential commercial impact."
Another feature of the Cloud offers from the publisher, the opportunity to try the software installed in the cloud. Lawson sets up an offer to "Try before you buy" (Lawson Test Drive) that will allow potential customers to test for two weeks hosted applications on the Cloud with their own data and their own processes.
