Yahoo India has started moving engineers working in the field of search and search advertising to Microsoft. He Satyla Nadelle, Vice President Research and Development at Microsoft, said on Thursday, 04.01.2010, more than 200 engineers from Yahoo India will be transferred to Microsoft's development center in Bangalore to set research and development branch online services (OSD - Online Services Division). This new center will direct department of Research and Development of Microsoft, is on staff at Hyderabad 1500. Some engineers at Hyderabad also working on search technologies.
In agreement with Yahoo, will have 400 engineers worldwide Yahoo is transferred to Microsoft. Mr. Nadella said, he hopes to complete the transfer of Yahoo engineers in India to Bangalore center later this year.
