Not long after the village iPad, Citrix has introduced its two applications for these handheld devices, notably the App Receiver solution for running Windows 7 on the iPad. Accordingly two new software’s that Citrix iPad is launched for App Receiver and GoToMeeting. This can be considered a very fast step in the access of Citrix customer’s iPad.

Specifically, App Receiver is designed to help users iPad use online applications work. In addition, this solution also supports multi-tasking - iPad not have this feature - and even Flash. Meanwhile, GoToMeeting is provided to support the collaboration needs work - a demand of many enterprises in recent times.

With App Receiver, iPad even allows users to run Windows 7 with the help of Zen Desktop VDI solution. From early February 2010, said Citrix is developing a new software-based receiver on the iPhone software to promote the power of the large screen on the iPad, helping the device more flexible and thus easy to find a foothold in the enterprise environment.
