The manufacturer Biostar has raised more light on TA890FXE, a motherboard based on AMD 890FX chipset and therefore for the Athlon and Phenom II II AM3. With a power stage to 6 phases, the processor accepts TA890FXE displaying a maximum TDP of 140W. This motherboard is also able to unlock some CPU cores.

The TA890FXE has four slots and four DDR3 PCI-Express x16, two PCI slots, five SATA connectors 6 Gbps eSATA port and Gigabit Ethernet controllers, audio 7.1 and FireWire. Also the use of capacitors with solid electrolyte and the presence of a cooling system for the chipset and MOSFETs composed of radiators connected by a heatpipe. Expected by the end of the month, the TA890FXE Biostar has not yet prices.
