If one thinks figures released by analyst firm IDC, the market of netbooks has continued to grow during the first quarter of 2010. So about 4.8 million netbooks have been sold during this period, against "only" 3.6 million year ago increase of 33.6%.

In the year 2009 as a whole, sales of netbooks have reached approximately 33.3 million units. IDC estimates that sales should rise above 50 million in 2010. The market still seems to have some potential, despite its apparent saturation.
