BDXL specification is targeted for data storage requirements of broadcast, healthcare and company document images. BDXL 128GB disk space can be write-once, read many (WORM) disks also BDXL 100GB capacity can be recorded. BDA adds BDXL version for consumers will be launched in areas that Blu-ray Disc (BD recorder) has been a large user’s getting.
IH-BD discs will include a single layer BD-ROM and a BD-RE single layer, allowing users to view data, offers data to individuals relating to the same physical disk.
Because BDXL and IH-BD is the format is specifically designed for particular market segments should have the new hardware is designed for playback or recording disc BDXL / IH-BD. However, due to the new disk specification is an extension of Blu-ray technology to the current device BDXL, IH-BD in the future can be designed to support Blu-ray discs and 50GB 25GB today.
