Intel state that quarterly 1 / 2010 is considered high quarterly revenue ever for airline. In march end company's net profit reached 2.4 billion dollars, up 288% over same period last year, and exceeded predictions 2 , $ 13 billion from analysis of Thomson Reuters poll. Profit per share was $ 0.43 compared with forecast $ 0.38.

Its revenue reached 10.3 billion USD in quarter 1 / 2010, up 44% over the same period last year, also beat forecasts of 9.8 billion USD. In this quarter, revenues increased from the processor and chipset. The company launched the new Core chips i3, and i7 I5, used for laptop and desktop, and then, in mid-March 2010, re-launched its Xeon 5600 chip for new server. The chip is manufactured using 32nm process, making the processor run faster and more energy efficient, while reducing production costs. In February last year, Intel said it would invest $ 7 billion in 2 years to repair factory, to reduce production costs and increasing productivity. Intel forecast revenue for the quarter reach 10.2 billion USD, difference can be $ 400 million.
