According to some sources, MSI will soon start marketing a new P55 motherboard using the famous chip Hydra LucidLogic. Called Hydra GD88-P55 or P55A Hydra, the model should however be more affordable than the Big Bang Fuzion.
In ATX format, this motherboard has two PCI-Express 16x, against three for the Fuzion. We also find two PCI-Express x1, two PCI slots, four slots DDR3, 6 port SATA 6 Gbps, 3 Gbps SATA seven connectors, eSATA port and Gigabit Ethernet controllers (x2), Audio 7.1 and USB 3.0. Power and Reset buttons should also be placed directly on the PCB of the card. The exact price of the P55A Hydra is of course not yet known, but there is talk of a rate less than 300 Euros.
