The development of Llano, the future APU of AMD, seems on track. The manufacturer has announced it has begun shipping the first copies to its partners, evidence that the project's progress Fusion meets for the moment the roadmap of AMD. The latter provides for launching the mass production of the Llano before the end of the year for marketing planned for early next year.
Completely engraved in 32nm, the Llano should call back together in a single chip from two to four cores STARS x86 in fact like those currently used in the Phenom II, with some optimizations on side of energy management and DirectX 11 compatible GPUs derived from the architecture of the Radeon HD 5000, probably the equivalent of a Radeon HD 5670 with 400 SP. The L2 cache would reach his side 1MB, while the TDP would be between 20 and 59W depending on model. So many ways to compete effectively with the current supply of Intel.
