MSI has just announced a new feature for 890GXM-G65, a 890GX motherboard. UNLOCK 6-CORE can actually unlock the cores of Phenom II but here it is compatible with Phenom X4 II "Zosma" processor with four cores, but based on design Thuban, with six cores. And with technology from MSI, it is possible to move to 6 cores or even to 5 cores, and thus create a Phenom X5 II. Phenom X4 II "Zosma" are not yet available and that is the only representative announced the Phenom X4 II 960T.

Recall that the activation blocked by AMD cores is not automatically a success: the cores disabled are not necessarily functional, it is sometimes defective cores. Do not buy a Phenom X4 II hoping to have every time an X6, at least at the beginning of production. Indeed, the more the product is, the more the chances of avoiding defective cores are high.
