Micron should propose a new SSD in May, the P300. The DSS for enterprises use a SATA 6 Gbit / s and memory etched into 34 nm SLC. Memory is the standard ONFI 2.1 (for a faster connection between DSS and controller) and the capacity will vary between 50 and 200 GB for SandForce Since, therefore, a portion of memory is reserved for the management of the wear and actual capacity will be higher. Typically, you will have 64 GB to 50 GB of memory for numbers, 128 GB to 100 GB and 256 GB to 200 GB.
The DSS should use the same controller as the C300, original Marvell, and we can therefore expect sequential flow rates the C300 to 335 Mb / s, at least on motherboard equipped with SATA 6 Gbit / s which is rare.
