Intel Wireless Technology Windows Display (WiDi) little known but potentially important have been used in Toshiba's latest notebook, the Satellite A660.

New Satellite notebook series to use the mobile version of Intel's Core i3, and i7 I5; NVIDIA graphics, Blu-ray drive, TruBrite 16-inch LED display 16:9 aspect ratio and Wi-Fi 802.11n. One model will be expanded with WiDi, projection technology to screen laptop directly to the TV is equipped with appropriate license to use TV as the screen is not official. To work, to TV adapter (adapter) PTV1000 WiDi as the Netgear to accept and translate signals.

The application is to display video, but it optimizes the screen and allows WiDi expanded desktop (desktop). Other requirements are: minimum laptop to run from the Intel Core i3-330M or more, install any version of Windows 7 64-bit does.
