Floppy disks were most computer users "abandoned." Now, it was "being pushed to extinction" when Sony decided to end production early next year.
Sony will end on floppy disks sold 3 / 2011 due to declining demand. In 2009, floppy domestic market of Japan has about 12 million discs, which Sony accounts for 70% market share.
