That it has obtained Tel Aviv-based startup, Labpixies. No price was declared, but some estimate the achievement may have charge Google a cool $25 million. The Google-Labpixies partnership goes back to 2005, when Labpixies was one of the first developers to build web widgets for Google's personalized homepage service, iGoogle. Google and Labpixies also worked mutually on many other Open Social based gadgets.

As said by both the Google and Labpixies blogs, there will be no instant changes to Labpixies. The team will continue to work out of the Labpixies Tel Aviv office. The Labpixies deal marks Google's eighth achievement of the year--Google has been over living up to it is assure to buy one small firm for each month. Previous year, Google obtained Microsoft Word online part DocVerse, photo-editing site Picnik, email application maker reMail, social search company Aardvark.
