In the middle of a beating from consumer’s up-in-arms about its solitude policies, Facebook Inc. said on Monday that its engineers are functioning on making its privacy settings easier to use.
In a column available today in the Washington Post, Facebook CEO confess that the company has made fault in its ongoing shove to extra allow social connections, and that Facebook expects to quickly set up novel, easier-to-use privacy settings and make it simpler for users to make sure their private information isn't shared with third-party Web sites.
"Facebook has been increasing rapidly," wrote CEO. "It's a challenge to keep that many people happy over time, so we move rapidly to serve that community with novel ways to connect with the social Web and each other.
Occasionally we move too fast -- and after listening to new concerns, we're responding."
CEO said one of the main concerns listen from Facebook consumers in current weeks was the required of an easy way to control who can see and share information they have posted on the social network.
