For the initial time in 10 years, a Canadian arts duo tactics to execute a symphony using only archaic dot matrix printers. The piece, entitled "Symphony for Dot Matrix Printers #2," will be performed at the Mutek electronic tune carnival, held after that week in Montreal.
The couple inventor Madan and system performer Thomas, who equally goes during the name of the consumer, will direct the procedure of a multiplicity of speedy snapping dot matrix printers so that they create melodiously interesting hums.
In addition, video cameras will be seeded during the ranks of the printers, capturing their frenetic interior processes for a sequence of screens on the period.

Madan opening thought of the plan in the early on 1990s when his effort at a university computer lab, which then had a plenty of dot matrix printers.
