A Southern California mother was lately equipped place her long-ago kidnapped children using Facebook, according to plentiful media reports.

An unidentified San Bernardino woman lost her son and daughter in 1995 when her then husband makes off with the 2- and 3-year-old toddlers.

But the superseding years bring the arrival of the World Wide Web, along with, finally, social-networking sites.

The mother searched for her now-teenage daughter on Facebook and bares her profile. The two began swap messages, belongings chilled.

"The teenager said, 'Not involved in a relationship. We just have a joyful life. Leave us alone,'" San Bernardino Deputy District Attorney Kurt Rowley told. The profile gone and the mother got in stroke with Rowley and his investigators, who finally situated the children in Florida.

The father was under arrest and charged with two counts of abduct and two add up of infringe child care orders, and the mother, was finally given care of the kids, who were originally watched in excess of by Florida Department of Children and Families.
