Ford Motor Co. and Google have connected forces to build it easier to obtain where you're headed.
The Dearborn, Mich.-based automobile corporation proclaims that it strategy to add Google Maps to in-vehicle Ford Sync communications systems put in a few Ford and Lincoln Mercury brand vehicles. The Sync factory installed inside car communications and entertainment system was developed together by Ford and Microsoft.
The Google maps update, dub Send to Sync. Is intended and allow public to forward Google maps and instructions from their PCs or smart phones straight in their vehicles.
Google Maps is predictable to be accessible by July 1 on all 2010 and 2011 models prepared with Sync.
"Printing paper instructions from a Web site is an artifact in our digital age," said Doug Van Dagens, executive of Ford Connected Services answers Organization, in a declaration.
