North Korea, one of world's few remaining information black holes, has taken primary step toward a completely fledged connection to Internet. But a connection, if it comes, is doubtful to mean freedom of information for North Korea's citizens.

In the history few months, a chunk of 1,024 Internet addresses, kept for many years for North Korea but not at all touched, has been record to a corporation with links to government in Pyongyang.

The numeric IP addresses recline at heart of communication on Internet. Each PC connected to the network wants its own address so that data can be sent and received by correct servers and PCs. Without them, communication would fall apart.

It is indistinct how country's reserved leadership plans to create utilize of addresses.

It seems probable they will be allocating for military or government use, but specialists say it is unfeasible to recognize for sure.

North Korea's shift to Internet comes as it finds itself ever more inaccessible on world stage. The current sinking of a South Korean warship has been responsible on limited country.

As a result, there are calls for tougher sanctions that would isolate North Korea further.
