Iomega has proclaimed a novel line of 500GB, USB 2.0 portable drives featuring one of three colorful and edgy designs from Skin Industries. The novel Iomega Skin Hard Drive is make to endure drops from equal to 51 inches onto industrial carpet, which the corporation claims is 40 percent higher than the industry standard.

Iomega Skin Hard Drives come formatted as NTFS, but can simply be made Mac compatible using OS X's Disk Utility.
