The long wait for Verizon users to acquire their hands on Apple iPhone might be over early on next year.
Verizon will be receiving its own version of the enormously popular smartphone in January. The addition of the iPhone would offer a boost to Verizon, as the device has exposed itself to be equally a hit with the detractors and with the common public.
The iPhone 4, which initial launched last week, has by now sold 1.7 million units in the distance of three days.
Reports of Verizon snagging its own version of the iPhone have been about for years at present, as no one has been rather certain of when AT&T's individuality agreement with Apple was schedule to end.
In spite of the fact that Apple and AT&T's relationship on the iPhone has been enormously profitable for both corporations, Apple might enlarge its share of the smartphone market still further by contribution its device to Verizon's 93 million wireless subscribers.
The reality that Verizon and AT&T will both be supporting the GSM-based LTE by the start of 2012 as well creates offering the iPhone on multiple carriers further enticing, as Apple won't need to build two dissimilar models that work on CDMA and GSM networks.
