    Default Europe's antitrust official to investigate antitrust regarding Google

    Europe's apex antitrust official said that his office is continuing to investigate antitrust worries regarding Google Inc. In a dialogue regarding digital media in London, a vice president of the European Commission in charge for rivalry policy, did not particularly name Google, but did quote a search engine that holds 95% of market share in Europe. Google is definitely the most broadly used search engine in Europe and around the globe.

    Yahoo is a remote second in Europe with a market share that usually variety from single digits into the teens. "Dominance on Internet is tricky to set up," Almunia said, according to a record of the dialogue. "On the internet, information travels fast and users may be very reactive.
