Microsoft updated its Visual Studio 2010 Productivity Power Tools, adding expansions and fixing bugs.

Downloadable from Visual Studio Gallery site, the tools serve to increase developer productivity in Visual Studio. Featured in this launch is a capability to turn off entity extensions and a Solution Navigator tool for coders.

"The number one feature demand by far has been ability to turn off individual extensions in the Productivity Power Tools. In this launch, we've added an extension, which adds a group to Tools Options, which permits you to toggle extensions on/off and offers a single place to discover the choices for a exacting extension," said Sean Laberee in The Visual Studio Blog.

Solution Navigator, in the meantime, is a tool window that performs same as improved Solution Explorer project management tool, Laberee said. Users can utilize Solution Navigator to increase code files to navigate to classes and enlarge classes to navigate to members.

The tool as well presents searching, project straining, presentation of information concerning classes and previewing of images. But tool yet requires capabilities of Solution Explorer for example multi-select and drag-and-drop.
