The new version of Terracotta dispatched Java caching software is able, for initial time, to aggregate above a terabyte of pooled memory for a single application and its data, corporation proclaimed this week.
The software, Ehcache 2.2, can as well hold equal to several hundred million Java things in a single cache, as per the Terracotta's CEO, Amit Pandey. He added that this terabyte of memory can be run from as little as 10 servers.
