SAP reports a 15 % yearly increase in income for the subsequent quarter, on income up 12%. It predicts that essential profits increase in its core business of software and software-related services will increase subsequent achievement of its acquisition of Sybase.

Support income grew 14 % to €1.53 billion; application sales grew 17 % to €637 million, and subscription and other application-related service income rose 30 % to €95 million. In general, second-quarter income from SAP's core software and software-related services behavior grow at 16%, or 8 % exclusive of the effects of exchange fluctuations.
