The Lenovo announced the launch of the server rack server 2-socket ThinkServer RD230, RD240 and tower type server ThinkServer TD230, all equipped with 6 core Intel processors.

PC maker Lenovo just low into the server business in 2008, ThinkServer product will increase their market share. The new system is faster by 60% compared with the "predecessor", thanks in part to increase the number of core chips, Majety Kumar, director of marketing for Lenovo's ThinkServer said. The server can handle more work while consuming less power to go.

The system can run background applications (back-end) as the database or be used as a server cloud. They are designed for small and medium enterprises that use or low-level servers to run specialized applications for larger enterprises.
