IP Australia is searching to implement a content management system for its websites and probably Intranet by March 2011, in an effort to enhance communication and information supply to clients.
A Web Content Management Solution (WCMS) will be examined from an as still unidentified contractor in November this year, with intentions to transition system live by March next year for minimum the main IP Australia site.
The agency, which is operated by Department of Improvement, Industry, Science and Research, operates 13 websites, 30 online services and has 800,000 unique browsers yearly.
As per the IP Australia documents, content management system will obey with World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.0, as set in the Government 2.0 Taskforce advices.
