Google has patched flaws in their application Audio CAPTCHA. This error may have given hackers a way to automatically set up fake accounts. CAPTCHA is testing application used by many websites to reduce online fraud. Websites often use multiple CAPTCHA systems to ensure that new accounts are created by humans, instead of automatic script.

Normally, a CAPTCHA test appearance of a picture tricky to read from, but then the user must type in to confirm they are not machines. Audio version to give blind users a way to use CAPTCHA, by the sound recorded from the test.
