An Apple executive with errands for the company's agreement manufacturing in Asia was detained Friday and accuse with accepting bribe. Worldwide deliver manager Paul Shin Devine was charged with accepting $1 million in bribe from many Asian dealers of iPhone and iPod accessories in a federal indictment and a civil suit. Devine allegedly was paid for sharing private Apple information with contractors that assist them win Apple business on positive terms.
Reports stated that Devine gave secret Data to companies like Cresyn Co. Ltd. in South Korea, Kaedar Electronics Co. Ltd. in China and Jin Li Mould Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. in Singapore. He supposedly shared the bribe with Andrew Ang, a worker of Jin Li who the condemnation accuse helped broker contract with his manager and others. In the meantime, Apple on Friday sued Devine in a case in U.S. District Court in San Jose, and he is planned to appear on Monday, report stated.
